Katie Banis
Katie Banis
Katie joined Adviser Investments in 2013 having worked previously at UBS Private Wealth Management in Boston. On her team, she is responsible for discussing any changes in clients’ financial situations, managing accounts and ensuring all service needs and concerns are met. Katie graduated from Northeastern University in 2011 with a B.A. in sociology and is studying to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Katie lives in Boston with her French bulldog, Kazie.
 
Ryan Christensen
Ryan Christensen
Ryan started his career at Adviser Investments in October 2012. He graduated from Roger Williams University in 2010 with a B.S. in finance. Prior to joining Adviser Investments, Ryan worked at New England Financial Group as a financial adviser. He is responsible for coordinating all services and needs associated with client accounts. Additionally, he helps identify and partner with new clients across the country. Ryan played collegiate lacrosse for four years, is an avid golfer and currently lives in South Boston. He makes regular television appearances on NECN in Boston to provide market analysis.
 
 
Chris Deeley
Christopher S. Deeley
Chris joined Adviser Investments in 2017 upon the acquisition of Braver Wealth Management. Chris has worked in wealth management focusing on portfolio construction and securities research for private clients for 20 years with firms including Babson Capital, Bingham Legg Advisers, Congress Asset Management and LMCG Investments, where he managed globally diversified equity and balanced portfolios for high-net-worth clients. Chris holds a B.S. in accounting from Boston College and an MBA from Babson College. He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2002, and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Securities Analysts Society.
 
 
Lewis Frost
Lewis C. Frost
Lewis Frost has served as a portfolio executive with Adviser Investments since 1999. Prior to this, Lewis worked for Scudder Investments in San Diego, CA and in Boston, MA, in its high net worth department. He also worked as a sales specialist for Fidelity Investments. Lewis served as a personal financial counselor for the U.S. Department of the Navy on Coronado Island in San Diego, CA, where he was recognized by the Secretary of Defense for assisting its personnel in managing their finances. A California native, Lewis graduated from the University of Utah in 1990. He currently lives in Newton Upper Falls, MA, with his wife.
 
Christopher P. Hagan
Christopher M. Hagan
Chris joined Adviser Investments upon its acquisition of Kobren Insight Management (KIM) in 2011 and he specializes in investment management consulting for affluent individuals and families. Prior to joining KIM in 2009, Chris worked at Fidelity Investments in both San Francisco and Boston, most recently as the Director of Executive Services, educating and guiding corporate executives on equity compensation exercise strategies. In 2016, he was honored in Boston magazine for the fourth time as a Five Star Wealth Manager. Chris earned his B.A. from Saint Michael's College, his M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco and got his start in the financial services industry in 1997. He was awarded his CRPC® in February 2013. Chris makes regular television appearances on NECN in Boston.
 
Suzanne M. Irwin

Suzanne M. Irwin
Sue joined Adviser Investments during our first year of operations in 1995. She has worked as a portfolio administrator, a securities analyst, and as Adviser Investments' operations manager prior to becoming a portfolio executive in 2001. In 2016, she was honored in Boston magazine for the second time as a Five Star Wealth Manager. Sue is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and is trained in issues of importance to seniors and their families. She is a member of the Portfolio Review Committee and holds a B.A. in economics from Stonehill College in Easton, MA, as well as an M.B.A. from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY. An avid golfer and travel enthusiast, Sue lives in Charlestown, MA.

 
Stephen Johnson
Stephen E. Johnson
Steve joined Adviser Investments in 2017 upon the acquisition of Braver Wealth Management. Steve started his investment career with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and spent 14 years at Charles Schwab overseeing individual clients’ planning, portfolio design and allocation strategies. He was a frequent presenter at Schwab seminars, has spoken before national audiences about issues and opportunities in the markets, and was a multiple recipient of the firm’s Chairman’s Club award. Steve is also a four-time Five Star Wealth Manager winner and has been quoted by Boston Magazine, the Boston Globe and USA Today, and has been interviewed on several investment radio programs. Steve holds a B.A. from the University of Vermont and is a magna cum laude graduate from the University of Maine School of Law. Admitted to the Massachusetts Bar, he spent a year with Bowditch and Dewey before realizing that his financial cases were the most interesting, precipitating his career change. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2012 and his Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA) credential in 2014.
 
Joshua W. Jones
Joshua W. Jones
Josh serves as a portfolio executive and is a member of Adviser Investments' Portfolio Review Committee. Josh is responsible for marketing the firm's services to individual and institutional prospects. He joined Adviser Investments upon the 2011 acquisition of Kobren Insight Management (KIM), where he'd served a similar role since 1999. Josh has previously held positions with TIAA-CREF and Fidelity Investments. In 2016, he was honored in Boston magazine for the seventh time as a Five Star Wealth Manager. Josh earned a B.A. in political science from the University of Vermont. Josh makes regular television appearances on NECN in Boston.
 
John Kennedy
John Kennedy
John came to Adviser Investments in May of 2009 as an account executive. Prior to this, he was a Financial Advisor at both Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley, where he worked with individuals to develop and implement personalized financial plans and investment solutions. He also worked at Fidelity Investments, supporting Registered Investment Advisors. John is a U.S. Navy veteran and graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in finance.

Liz has worked in the financial services industry since 1997 and joined Adviser Investments as part of the acquisition of Kobren Insight Management (KIM) in 2011. As a portfolio executive she works directly with individual clients. Prior to joining KIM in 2004, she held positions of Vice President for Fisher Investments and Regional Vice President for Pioneer Investment Management. Liz is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and is trained in issues of importance to seniors and their families. In 2016, she was honored in Boston magazine for the fifth time as a Five Star Wealth Manager. Liz is a graduate of Bates College and Phillips Academy Andover.
 
Robert Lepson
Robert D. Lepson
Bob joined Adviser Investments in 2017 upon the acquisition of Braver Wealth Management. Bob has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Braver, he was vice president and regional planning consultant with Fidelity Investments, working closely with high-net-worth clients. He has extensive experience in retirement income planning, risk-controlled portfolio design and charitable giving strategies. Bob is a four-time Five Star Wealth Manager recipient and his expertise has featured in the Boston Globe and Financial Advisor magazine as well as on WSJ.com. Bob has also hosted an online finance forum on Boston.com. He earned a B.A. from Brandeis University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®). He is a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor and is also a member of the Financial Planning Association. Bob has two adult children and resides in Brookline, MA with his wife Johanna.
 
Dina Milne

Dina Milne
Dina has worked in the financial services industry since 2009 and joined Adviser Investments in 2014. As a portfolio executive, she works directly with clients to respond to all of their account needs and concerns, from recommending suitable investment strategies to expediting day-to-day transactions. Before coming to Adviser Investments, Dina lived in Canada working as an account manager at the Royal Bank of Canada. She also worked as a financial advisor at Edward Jones. Dina has spent most of her life living and working abroad, and studied in both New Zealand and Italy. She holds a B.A. in political science from the American University in Cairo. Prior to joining the financial services industry, she taught primary and secondary students in the United Arab Emirates.

Mark joined Adviser Investments in 2002 and serves as a vice president. He is also a member of the firm's Portfolio Review Committee. Mark began his career at Putnam Investments where he acted as a liaison between Putnam and Edward Jones, one of the largest broker/dealers in the country. In 2016, he was honored in Boston magazine for the second time as a Five Star Wealth Manager. Mark graduated from Colby College in Waterville, ME, majoring in psychology and minoring in classics. He also holds an M.A. in communications from Marquette University. An avid football fan and Eagle Scout, Mark also enjoys reading in his free time.

Todd Peters
Todd is a member of Adviser Investments' Portfolio Review Committee and a portfolio executive. He also serves as a liaison between our research and account management teams. Todd joined Adviser Investments when the firm acquired Kobren Insight Management (KIM) in 2011. Todd got his start in the financial services industry in 1982—prior to joining KIM in 1993, he spent six years as a registered representative for Fidelity and four years as a compliance specialist with Financial Services Corporation. He has been honored three times in Boston magazine as a Five Star Wealth Manager. Todd holds a B.A. in finance from the University of Toledo as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society (BSAS).
 
Bradley Sharp

Bradley K. Sharp
Brad joined Adviser Investments in 2017 upon the acquisition of Braver Wealth Management. Prior to Braver, he spent 12 years at Fidelity where, as vice president and senior account executive in the firm’s private client group he oversaw client relationships totaling more than $1.4 billion. Brad earned a B.A. in economics from Colorado State University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a member of the Financial Planning Association, and is a three-time Five Star Wealth Manager recipient. He lives with his wife and two children in Waban, MA.

 
Jonathan St. Clair

Jonathan R. St. Clair
Jonathan has been with Adviser Investments since 1996, and is a member of the company's Portfolio Review Committee. He also oversees the firm's Alliance Program for independent investment professionals. Jonathan began his financial career at American Express/IDS Financial Advisors and has also served as an account executive at Dean Witter Reynolds. In 1992 he earned that firm's highest honor, the National Sales Director's Award. In 2016, he was honored in Boston magazine for the fourth time as a Five Star Wealth Manager. Jonathan graduated from Boston College where he received an A.B. in economics. He also holds an M.B.A. from McGill University. Jonathan lives with his wife and three children in Chestnut Hill, MA.

 
Adam Strauss
Adam Strauss
Adam joined Adviser Investments in 2000 as a portfolio executive. Adam began his financial services career in 1985 as a performance measurement specialist for Bond Timing Services, where he provided analytical support to the firm's portfolio managers. In 1990, Adam was president of Telecost Management, a telecommunications consulting company that specialized in analyzing telecommunication systems for non-profits. He spent five years with George Kinder Financial Services as a financial adviser, working with private clients on investment, estate and retirement planning concerns. He sits on our Portfolio Review Committee and is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). In 2016, he was honored in Boston magazine for the fourth time as a Five Star Wealth Manager. Adam graduated from the University of Massachusetts with degrees in art and economics, and earned his master's degree in education from Tufts University. He was awarded his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 1999. Adam lives in Lexington, MA, with his wife and children.
 
Charles Toole

Charlie joined Adviser Investments in 2017 upon the acquisition of Braver Wealth Management. He serves as a member of the firm’s senior investment committee. An engineer by training, Charlie has over 11 years of investment experience. Prior to joining Braver in 2006, he held positions with Boston Engineering Corporation and Parametric Technology Corp. as a consultant to technology and manufacturing firms. Charlie holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an M.S. in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University. He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2008 and his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2011, and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Securities Analysts Society.

Jamie is a portfolio executive and member of the Portfolio Review Committee and has been instrumental in helping clients achieve their financial goals since 1992. He is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and is trained in issues of importance to seniors and their families. He's been with Adviser Investments since the acquisition of Kobren Insight Management (KIM) in 2011. Prior to joining KIM in 2005, Jamie was a Vice President and Investment Center Manager for Charles Schwab. He also served clients as a registered representative at Olde Brokerage. In 2016, he was honored in Boston magazine for the fourth time as a Five Star Wealth Manager. Jamie holds a B.A. in business with a minor in economics from Plymouth State University.

Rick joined Adviser Investments in March 2001 from American Express Financial Advisers, where he provided individual clients with comprehensive financial planning solutions. He is a member of Adviser Investments’ Portfolio Review Committee. In 2016, he was honored in Boston magazine for the fourth time as a Five Star Wealth Manager. Rick graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, with a B.S. in business administration, concentrating in marketing and finance. He is a member of the MA Financial Planning Association, was awarded his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in 2005, his CRPC® in 2009 and his AWMA® designation in 2015. Rick is an active member of the Big Brother Big Sister Organization of Massachusetts Bay. He lives in Concord, MA, with his wife, son and daughter and enjoys running and golfing.

Kari joined Adviser Investments in 2011 after moving to the Boston area from Chicago, IL. She previously worked in a client service role at Astor Capital Management. As a portfolio executive, she works directly with individual clients to manage their accounts and ensure all service needs and concerns are met. Kari graduated from DePaul University in 2008 with a B.S. in finance. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a member of the Financial Planning Association. Kari lives in Needham, MA with her husband, son and sheepadoodle. She enjoys traveling and cheering on her home team, the Iowa Hawkeyes.
 
Matthew G. Wyllie
Matthew G. Wyllie
Matt Wyllie joined Adviser Investments in 2005 after serving as a financial planner with American Express/Ameriprise Financial, where he worked closely with individual clients to implement personal and comprehensive financial planning solutions. He was awarded his AWMA® designation in 2015. Matt graduated from Bryant College in Smithfield, RI, with a B.S. in business administration and a concentration in finance. He lives with his wife and daughter in Acton, MA. Matt is an avid soccer fan and enjoys watching and playing it in his spare time.
